Michael Bray, FRICS
A Fellow and fully qualified Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer, Michael has worked in the property market for over 30 years. Particularly experienced with private clients at the high end of the market, the farming community, land owner and corporate clients. Michael can draw upon a wealth of experience to offer advice on all property matters. One of the last old fashioned multi-disciplined Chartered Surveyors!
A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, former Chairman of the Surrey branch of the Incorporated Society of Valuers and Auctioneers and Vice Chairman of the Surrey branch of the RICS. Michael enjoys valuation and complex negotiation work, particularly with private clients.
If not at the office or with clients, Michael will be found training his many gun dogs.
Timothy Bray, BSc Hons
Tim qualified at Plymouth University in Marine Logistics before a career change in surveying where he has a BSc Hons in Building Surveying. Tim is well known for his attention to detail and unflappable style. Tim enjoys analysing problems. He can find solutions to issues and deal with them efficiently and without fuss.
Tim has particular experience in building surveying and commercial property management, having joined Michael in the practice nearly 15 years ago. When not in the office Tim will be found with his two daughters or on two wheels, be it a mountain bike or motorcycle.
Marc Selcon MRICS BA Hons
Marc qualified at West of England University in property development and planning. Marc took a sabbatical to spend some time abroad including living in Australia before returning to work for a large corporate firm in Surrey. Marc returned to Bray Estates and is particularly good at valuation matters and the technical detail. He is able to understand what the Client needs and find a way to deliver a detailed report with good explanations to satisfy the Clients requirement without fuss and on time.
In his spare time Marc enjoys keeping active, personal fitness and spending time with his family. Marc is a keen sports fan and regularly attends sporting events in particular rugby and motorsports.
Charlotte joined the company in summer 2019 and works alongside Tim in the Management Department. She deals with the day-to-day aspects of management and is the first point of call for the Management Clients.
Charlotte loves to travel and previously spent 5 months travelling around Australia and New Zealand.
Sonia assists Michael in the consultancy. Having been with him for over 6 years she understands how he thinks and what the Client needs.
Sonia has a family and two daughters and enjoys the finer things in life including travel, wine and fashion.
Debbie is the Practice Manager and the main stay of the business. Having met Michael in the mid-1980s and worked with him, Debbie acknowledges Michael is a difficult man to work with, but has him under control! Debbie joined Bray Estates in 1998 and is responsible for the smooth running of the office. She is generally the first point of contact for any new or existing clients.
